We advise that everyone ease into and out of a cleanse, no matter how long you intend to cleanse for. You should eat very light foods like fruits, vegetables, salads, non-creamy soups, and drink plenty of water.
- Plan your cleanse on days that you have the least amount of outside pressures
- Prepare fresh cut fruits &/or vegetables for the length of the cleanse so it’s easy to grab & go
- Plan light meals for the first 1-2 days after the cleanse so you don’t binge (no dairy or grains containing gluten)
- Do it with a friend or coworker! There is nothing like having someone who you can talk to about what you are doing!!
Avoid foods like meat, dairy, and heavily processed foods (anything with more than 3-5 ingredients). Alcohol and drugs are also to be avoided before and after a cleanse.
